Each year, we host workshops in school holidays. These courses give children from across Lincolnshire and surrounding
counties the opportunity to come together to play great music, make new friends and work with tutors who are at the top

Senior Course - Grade 6 - Diploma Level Monday 22nd APRIL 2019 - 9am-5pm Course Fees: £45 Max spaces: 35
Conductor Rob Hodge, a regular with RCM Junior Dept, NCO-GB, Malta Philharmonic to name but a few, will lead this year's Senior Easter Course with:
Clare Thompson - former sub-leader of the Philharmonia, current guest No 3 - CBSO, teacher at Trinity Conservatoire and Junior Royal Academy of Music.
Andrea Gajic - Professor at Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and inspirational guest teacher across the world
Justin Ward - a violist with an extremely varied career, including 6 string quartet tours to Japan, accompanying Shirley Bassey next to the Sphinx in Cairo and Wagner’s Ring Cycle!
Ian Pressland - former cellist with the BBC Concert Orchestra and member of the Rasumovsky String Quartet.
Junior Course - Grade 1 - Grade 5 Level Monday 22nd APRIL 9am-4.30pm Course Fees: £45 Max spaces: 30
Condutor Alex Laing, a regular coach and conductor with NCO-GB and Artistic Director (Music) of Kings High School in Warwick, will this Easter lead our Junior Strings course with:
Caroline Davis - violinist and former teacher at the Menuhin Foundation, Bermuda, Caroline now teaches across West Yorkshire
Laura Feeney - freelance violists and member of staff at Pro Corda
Rosie Spinks - OMG's cello tutor, cellist with The Larisa Trio
Beginners Course - Pre Grade 1- Monday 22nd APRIL - 9am-4.30pm Course Fees: £45 Max spaces: 10
The beginners course focuses on developing the fundamental musicianship skills; listening carefully, working together
and cooperating as part of a group. The children work with tutor, Ken Garfield, specialist in primary music, in a variety
of workshops including rhythmic percussion & using their instruments to play and sing simple songs.
